" I had the most shocked look on my face. The mother was my mother. The father was my father. And I turned out to be that baby!A little later, my mother was at her apartment as Tony was at work, and she was only watching TV, petting her dog, Peyton. Suddenly, her phone began to ring.
“Hello?” She answered.
“Mom?” I said, holding my communicator close to my mouth as my headset was on.
“Oh, Emily. Are you alright?” She asked. “You sound a little worked up.”
“I just saw the most amazing thing I think a girl like me could ever see.” I replied.
“What happened? Did Sonic and Amy kiss?” She asked me.
“No….I’m still waiting for that. But what I actually saw was an old tape from when I was born. Do you remember what happened that day?”
“Of course I do. I gave birth to you, honey. And you know I--!” My mother was saying.
“No, Mom. Not just that. I saw a video Tails taped when he was at the hospital. He was there when I was born. He even saved me when I stopped breathing after I came out.” I interrupted, trying not to be rude, but truthful all the same.
“Oh….” She took it in after a moment of silence. “I remember now. I must’ve forgotten after those damn shock treatments. It was actually….Tails who came in. That video is right. Unlike most people out there, the camera never lies.” She told me. “And he gave you a whole basketful of gifts. Including this music box…..I have the music box. I took it with me when I moved from your father’s. Do you want it?”
“Yes, I do. I’ll be over in a minute.” I then hung up and just teleported myself to her apartment."
