Description
This series is of my mom, who has survived Breast Cancer three times over the past ten years. This last bout is in her lungs and her bones. She has struggled and fought her way through chemo and radiation, and is just getting her strength back. She is a true hero, a fighter, and a inspiration to me. Never have I heard a word of complaint from her mouth, regardless of how much she has been through. I have been taking photographs of her "journey" this hopefully final battle with breast cancer.It goes in this order:
Before treatments started, shown with my daughter
Hair started to fall out, so she had my sister shave it off
Artistic shots
Shots at the temple
Chemo treatments
Radiation
Final photo is my favorite of all. ("There Is Hope")

I also wanted to say that your mother is so strong for going through this and surviving it. My nana had breast cancer and it exsculated to bone cancer and she died last September.This picture gives me hope that maybe if my Nan had token the treatment she may have lived. Thank you,i worked hard on it I'm glad your pleased. It is,but we went to Nashville (we being my mother,father,and I) and spread some of her ashes there,she'll live in her favorite place. Again i say god bless your family and yourself,my prayers are with you.

I know you don't know me and I don't know you. I cannot say I understand what you or your mother went through. But both my Aunts on my mum's side have had breast cancer and survived it and through genetic testing, my mum and I have found out we carry the Breast Cancer gene in our family line. I am an ambassador for breast cancer research & awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month throughout October. So far I have raised over $100 towards research with a $500 target goal. I am also selling pink ribbon merchandise in my city of Adelaide, here in Australia.
Along with Bowel Cancer, which I also have in my family, I dream of a future without Breast Cancer. Breasts are beautiful. Your mum is an inspiration and a hero in my opinion. I wish You and Your mother strength.
Lost my mother for starters.
It took five years of hell.
Then many female members of my mothers family died. The remaining had their breasts removed.
If I ever believed in God, I lost it then.
As You might know I did a portrait of Shaynoggle.
I wanted to do something with this one but it does not show. I will try again soon.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mother and your family. Its a hard fight. If anything, this struggle has brought me closer to God. I know if my mom passes before I'm ready for her to, at least she'll be in a better place, and that brings me much comfort!

Strength.
Eat well if You can.

if You are weak. Remember that !!!
You are ready always....
The time after will tell You how much.
You will hurt for quite a while.
The pain You saw will never leave You.
There will always be a sense of fear.
This made me what I am. Mr. average.
Could have done better things. But
that's the cruelty of live.

yes a animated stamp that she can display or you can display as a kind of medal or badge as it were. Something to honor the struggle and the fact the survivors can gain hope from others. I could not have made it through my own ordeal without the help of survivors. This is a small way to repay that debt of honor and to raise awareness of just how common this issue has become.

I hope you don't mind- but for my Breast Cancer journal feature, I'd like to include this piece. I am a survivor, and was inspired to finally pose nude with my double mastectomy scars and reconstruction finally exposed. It was important to me to show the world what lies beneath. I think this piece would be a nice feature in lieu of this same message. I will be providing you a link soon.
