The overall plot is an extremely flat/offensive "baby's first racism analogy" which was expected since David Cage is an incompetent writer. The Hank and Connor scenes is the only enjoyable parts of the game since it's just a more classic buddy cop thing instead of Cage trying to be deep and important hehe

If you do play it try to do it in a way where you don't give Cage money I guess....

Random aside that you probably already know by now, but the vast majority of what happened between Connor and Hank was actually thanks to their respective actors. They had to fight to keep the scenes in as it was not what Cage had written.

I'd say the actors just added a couple of ad-libs, people are waaayyyyyyy overestimating the full amount since they don't wanna praise anything Cage related.

I agree. This might be just my opinion but the game actually starts off much more subtle at the beginning (and even then it's not that subtle), but then as the plot goes on and the slavery/racism analog just becomes embarrassing and ridiculous. The fundamental problem though beyond the lack of subtlety is this: I can't help but not buy into the android's plight. At no point does the plot reliably explain why they think they're alive or how that came to be. Granted I have not finished the game yet, but I still can't buy into these scenes when I haven't been sold on the person-hood of these characters.
