Description
This is the poem "The road goes ever on and on..." done in the style of a medieval illuminated manuscript featuring the four hobbits. I've been playing with this idea for a while and I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I used ink and gold leaf but the detail hasn't come out very well. Any comments/ criticisms are appreciated! I'm thinking if doing a series of these using different poems and different cultures from Middle Earth.I own neither the characters or the words - they belong to the great J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Lord of the Rings'.
