This species is currently listed as a species of least concern by the IUCN Redlist, as it has a wide habitat distribution (occurs throughout Central America), and can somewhat tolerate altered habitats and disturbed habitats with a bit of human habitat.
Photographed on a trip with the Honduras dept. of Operation Wallacea biodiversity monitoring and conservation group.
