I NEVER thought I'd say this, but I almost wish I were going to be in San-Francisco. ...almost.
Anyway, I really dig the fur upon which she's sitting. It reads really well, and I bet it was a pain to paint.
I also like the way you made her skin folding over it's self. Happeninly-Superb work all around.

i used a lot of raw umber, seems to be i use it a lot in all my paintings, kind of sombre and old fashioned looking, and then a cute girl always contrast quite well with it

that's from living in england, always raining and grey, no sunny days to go photograph your painting outside!

awww! I live in oregon where it rains plenty too. I try to pick overcast days to take a pic because the sun puts out more glare than indoor lighting. It is a beautiful piece that deserves a proper photo. Someday within this next century the rain will stop for a few hours, so be ready to do it justice!
