Glad to be back in the warm glow of SanSan love!  But full disclosure: ever since I saw :iconkallielef_:'s wonderful piece, "Tragedy" kallielef.deviantart.com/art/T… , all I could think was "Man, my art is so boring and flat and standard.  I'd really like to try something different and non-traditional like this", and well... this happened.

I'm glad you liked the work (fyi it was a bitch and I erased it so many times my hand cramped up), but you're work is far from flat/boring/standard-it's inspired a lot of feelings and drawings out of me and others. I really like where this is going.

That's DA at its best: we're all inspiring each other!  There is such a great flow to your piece that I was convinced it came out in one shot - funny how that is!  Anyways, what I meant about my own work is that I have to force myself to break away from these static "police line-up" compositions ("Everybody, front and center!  Okay, now look straight at the camera!  Don't get groovy on me, now!"), and I just think I can afford to start taking chances and stretch them (artistic) legs.  Your piece was the kick in my butt I needed, so thank you!

Totally. Yeah, no, 95% of the time my drawings don't work out. Ok, I thought that was maybe what you meant as well, makes more sense. Yeah, see, I'm trying to do more realism on the side, and it's….difficult. I'm glad I could help out, thank you as well for your great work!

Well, I hope you don't begrudge me saying you I have never found your art boring and flat. You are one of my favorite Sansan artist! 

After we worked together and the results were so splendid, I decided to create a Sansan illustrated novella. I wanted to work with you of course, but it was after you had your baby. Here's the illustrated Sansan novella in case you were interested (linkie ).  Dare I entertain that we work together again?

Thank you so much!  That's amazing to hear - especially when I've produced so little SanSan!  But that's about to change!!  My little guy is FINALLY (mostly) sleeping through the night, and I'm going to have a little more time to myself, so commissions are OPEN!

As for your SanSan novella: WOW!  Very professional-looking, and very beautiful.  I am heartily impressed!

Thanks!  It might take a while to get it done because I'm still not sure how I want to do it (pencil, watercolour, digital...).  Stay tuned!
