I stretched my legs. I still felt weary, but it was already sunhigh. I crossed to the entrance, and walked out. “Hey! You’re not aloud out, remember! Get in there!” Mothpelt snapped. “Sorry.” I grumbled. “But do I have to?!” “Yes, unless you want to come out for a day and have to stay in for the rest of the moon!” I shrugged. “Deal” I said walking toward the fresh kill pile. “I wasn’t being serious about that. Get in there, or you will stay in there for today and the rest of the moon!” “Fine.” I trudged into the nursery. The moss was old. “I wonder when someone’s gonna clean this out.” I said to myself. Just then, an apprentice I didn’t know came in. “Hey” He said. “Hey” I grumbled. “What ya doin?” “Cleaning this out.” For the first time I noticed a ball of moss next to him. “Want some help?” “Sure” He said. “Just start balling up the old stuff.” “K” I said. “By the way, I’m Robinpaw.” “I’m Rainkit.” I started rolling up the old moss, and he was replacing the empty spaces with new moss. I felt something hit my ear. “Hey!” I threw an old piece of moss at him. “Hey!” He yowled. “It’s what you get.” I said jokingly. “You’re on.” Before I knew it, I was throwing moss everywhere. I felt a piece of moss hit my back and spun around. “I got cha’ now!” I threw a piece of moss at him. It hit him straight in the face. “Cheater!” He yowled. “How’d I cheat?!” I squeaked inocently. “I don’t know, but I’ll find out!” He returned my throw, but with more accuracy. I threw one to him, but it flew right past him, hitting Appleclaw on his shoulder. “I thought I told you to clean!” He said angrily to Robinpaw. “Sorry.” He pouted. “Now clean it up!” “Okay…” When he left, I started laughing my head off. “Shut up.” He muttered, but with a joking glint in his eye. “Lets clean this up.” I said. “Okay” I could become great friends with him….. maybe even more.
