Description This little one (along with its partner) was a regular visitor to our bird feeder during the spring and summer. They were both incredibly shy but I managed to snap this photo from our car with the window rolled down.  As usual, this photo was taken with a FujiFilm FinePix HS20 EXR

Please don't use this without my permission... Thanks!

I'm always looking to improve my works, so please leave suggestions or tips on how I could improve! I would really appreciate it!

Beautiful shot of such a beautiful little face! I have recently been trying to encourage birds to come into our area, with lots of feeders and suet. I also picked up small hunting blind which I think will be perfect for photography. With some luck, maybe I will be able to start getting some better shots!

That's really good!! I've been trying to do the same with my garden - the visitors do arrive a lot quicker than you would think!! A hunting blind sounds like a great idea for photography (I saw a photo recently of someone who was taking photos from a pop-up swan tent-type boat thing swimming on the water - it worked!) It's hard to get close-up shots of birds like this without scaring them away... I took this one from my car! Thank you very much once again!

It is really surprising, they know a human and they flee. But I can get a lot closer to them on my riding lawnmower, or in a car as you did. It is strange.

Lawnmowers can be quite loud too! Maybe they know it would take longer for us "predators" to reach them if we were behind a barrier as such... Also I can walk straight past some birds but if I stop they will fly off, even if I don't look at them... Very strange

It makes you wonder how they process threats...

How much wood  would a woodpecker peck, if a woodpecker would peck wood?

I hope I didn't cause some sleepless nights, did I? If ever we meet, we can make a contest..... Who's faster without mistakes......
