Description
Another angle of the metal structure at Leap Beach in Hampshire, seen in my other photo "Emerging ". I found out since uploading my other deviation that it was used as a loading jetty during WW2 for the D-Day embarkation. The slow shutter effect was created using welder's glass as a ND filter, and this photo was captured with a FujiFilm FinePix HS20EXR

Nice long exposure and composition.
Mat I suggest something ? You could expose a little less the sky, so your image would be a little more poetic and have more impact.

Thank you very much! I do agree with you about the sky - I think defined clouds would have made it more impacting. At the time, I found it rather hard to edit the sky separately from the rest of the image, but I have learned how to do it since. Thank you very much for your feedback, I really appreciate it!

"Still Standing" is an appropriate title. It must have looked so different during WWII with troops crawling all over it. Wonderful photo.
A series of your photos would look great on this theme (Leap Beach). They could be all in B&W showing the old relics on the beach. (Perhaps five? Or seven shots?)
Hey, you will have to take some photos of "old relics" here in Australia Emma! I can see you being very busy when you are here. (lol) This will require some forward planning because you will have take lots of nature photos too. (Koalas and kangaroos etc) I can see I will have to organise your time. You can see all the usual things like the Great Barrier Reef, Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour, and a few special things as well. Anything in particular you want to see and do here? You could swim with dolphins or whale sharks? How adventuous are you? lol Would like to ride a camel along the beach?
