I have indeed broken my promise...just spent about 5 hours doing my very first CG in PS7. Hair is pathetic...i know...maybe it will be better in my next piece.....on a learning curve here! i have learnt so much doing this one ^^.Thanks to the beautiful and talented who modelled. [link]
I have imagined Rowena a bit differently be to honest...but the piece turned out like this, and one point i even considered renaming it Cho Chang cuz she looks a bit oriental.

gosh what's wrong with the hair? and i couldn't help but notice that you always say your pieces are SO bad. if you hadn't point out the hair which isn't as ugly as you desribed it, then I wouldn't have even noticed it.. or paid attention to it at all. i am not trying to criticize you but - some people are annoyed by bad grammar, i am annoyed by people saying their art/ff/etc... stinks. why do they even put it up on the net, huh?

Early effort or not, this is a lovely piece. I like the oriental overtones quite a bit, particularly the way that you keep the background and border treatment very simple. Lovely work.

hehe i was going to say u broken the i'm not drawing promise. it's a good attempt. u should have seen my first in Photoshop awful >__< wait you've seen it! very different from my rowena that i'll add in later today. Good job!
