I think the original 4 turned off because Puppet is gone, like puppet's without a puppeteer. Gold didn't cause he broke free of Puppet's control. And, I agree, people are being too mean 2 puppet. STAP IT! LOL

This is what I think:
Puppet was the puppeteer, the original 4 were the puppets. Without a master to control them, they're just like lifeless, normal dolls. Golden is still alive because he broke free of Puppet's control.

Marionette/ Puppet was controlling them. When gold killed the puppet they were all shut down like they were supposed to.
