Shadowkat's creator here. Not sure what you mean by NF. Power Rangers was a big visual inspiration (though Shadowkat isn't actually anything like a Power Ranger lol).

Actually bendels did the final design for Shadowkat, since he is doing the pencils for the first Shadowkat comic. Compliment him, I'm a terrible artist lol
