Well yeah, I'm not dead :3I've been doing a little research lately about Narcolepsy... (yes, the sleep disorder Cael has!) and I've found it to be much more difficult than expected D:
Narcolepsy carries cataplexy phenomenom, which makes the body go completely numb in front of a shocking situation or emotionally strong circumstances, that means your muscles don't answer and you can easily fall asleep to the ground.
Also, since it's a sleep disorder, the circadian patterns completely mess up... D: yeah, that means this person will feel sleepy almost all day and have irregular sleep patterns at night, not to mention the patient has to take a lot of stimulants during the day to keep a "normal" life..
Phew.. yes, Narcolepsy D: that's what I made my poor baby have, I hope he forgives me someday!

I once saw a video on a herd of narcoleptic goats. A guy ran up and shouted really loudly to scare them. The goats all froze...then they all simultaneously fell to the ground, asleep.

Yeah, Narcolepsy sounds like a very inconvenient syndrome. [Although that can be said with most syndromes...] Maybe he can get snag something to keep him company at all times.
