Characters: Claudia WolfSeries: Silent Hill 3
Claudia was a costume I've picked up twice and did a little of and then never finished, until this December! It was time to do it! And I did! And oh my am I happy with it. Its a fully lined coat that I altered to fit her shape and had awesome crazy cuffs that I am also very proud of!
I was really lucky to have an amazing Heather with me, Lexxandra ([link] ) and also a wonderful photographer to work with, WhiteDesertSun ([link] ). Its always a wonderful time hanging out with my ever growing group of Silent Hill Cosplay fanatics! At this point we joke that we have enough to make a big family.

I did not shave my eyebrows for this costume. Instead I spent about an hour applying glue stick in layers to my eyebrows with powder and foundation. I did not shoop my eyebrows at all. It just takes a long time to get it to work, but I practiced a lot before this photoshoot happened.

Yea. I think for most Silent Hill characters, they look so normal. With little money will put them together so that they can participate, but no go as indepth. When I tend to make the 'simple' costumes from Silent Hill, I like to get all the details down to like a T. Including no eyebrows or putting makeup on my feet to look old even there when I wear Dahlia.
My friend *g0ldfishl0ve will even make her own shirts with the exact amount of stripes a character has. Her Maria costume has the exact same amount and shape of the links on her belly chain. We're just really huge perfectionist

I believe you are the awesome Claudia coming to Katsucon? I have been talking to Leesers about Silent Hill shenanigans! The model is me and I actually used many layers of glue stick to cover my eyebrows. It took about an hour to do, because you have to wait for one layer to dry in order to add another layer.

that must have hurt coming off, i'm surprised you didnt lose your eyebrows just pulling that from your skin

Actually it was little kids glue sticks. They are washable glue sticks, so all I had to do was continually wash my face for about 3 minutes and just dissolved.
