ok i put this in the weather section because you can tell there is a storm coming and I thought it ironic that the tree had already been hit by lighting. (im not sure that it was, but it looks it)This was taken from my property out of town.
please tell me what you think! it was taken about a month ago..but i just now got it edited the way i wanted!

Actually I've got a teeny confession there. I don't clearly remember the original, or what it looks like. But this new version looks really nice. Sorry 'bout that little misunderstanding I'd made.

This makes me feel lonely, but I like that. It brings out some sort of emotion, so that's good. I'm not sure the concept that you put out to it really makes too much sense because it doesn't look like it's been struck by lightening, just that it looks like winter. Other than that, It's nice photograph.

it is really just a tree that has been semi dead for about 10 years. it struggles to stay alive.
i thought it looked great up against the sky that day. completly spontaneous.

nice contrast and composition. I think it might be improved if the we could see some of the texture on the tree--old trees like that are full of interesting textures that could look really great with interesting lighting. keep it up.

seems so tragic, so bleek and yet that's life. It's one of those cycles we capture in life. I love the mood that clouds bring to this picture. I'm glad you had chosen to find this more appealing to us in black and white seeing it truly adds more to that abstract feeling rather then in color seeing you can feel and see more of the dispair within it, rather then the nature and the "beauty" of what color would have done.

it reminds me of angry gods, the way you can see all the individual lines on the sky, come to bring dark light and destruction.

in the small version it looked like the branches were burned and there was smoke rolling off of them, gave me a great idea for a painting lol. it's a great shot

great atmosphere in this shot - very dark and dangerous. at the same time there is this tree agains all the stuff - wind, weather, thunder - the sky is hard and angry - i should stop with that
