Born in a nook in Antova, Lucky was, well, lucky to be alive. Born out of an egg that was cracked open before hatching, Lucky barely had the strength to hold onto life. It wasn't long after recovering that he was taken in by a young couple.

His new mother was loving and affectionate, showering him with gifts, food, and compliments enough to make any wyngling feel special, and make Lucky pudgy for a wyngling. Despite his flabby belly his mother would often praise Lucky as being the sweetest thing and would insist that one day he would be a young man that "no girl will resist". Yet despite her loving nature she was incredibly frail and sickly throughout Lucky's life. He never learned why it was she was so sickly or why it was she could never have an egg of her own before she passed away.

Now Lucky's new father on the other hand was a hard working, strong, but stoic individual. He would always make his love for Lucky's mother known, while he never seemed to show Lucky any affection. His cold nature only grew worse after Lucky's mother died.

While Lucky feared he would be abandoned he never gathered the strength to protest his fate against his father. Yet despite his fears, his father never even mentioned the idea of leaving Lucky at a nook. Instead he moved himself and Lucky to Wynsiph where he had originally grown up. And in a rare moment upon settling in, he expressed how he cared for Lucky but didn't care for how he was becoming pudgy and spoiled. He expressed his hope that growing up in Wynsiph with his mothers absence would help make a "real man out of him"

Wanting to live up to his mother's dreams, and his father's expectations for him, Lucky often tries to puff up his chest and appear tougher and more charismatic than he actually is. So despite his desire to become a strong handsome young man, Lucky often falters when his advances are reciprocated or his challenges accepted.

Even though Lucky is far from a fighting gro, he often finds himself blinded by outrage when he sees sickly wynglings being teased or bossed around. And despite his bark normally being worse than his bite, he still gets involved when he see's this type of bullying going on.
