ahhh gift/fan art for 's character MidzukiI kinda fallowed his design -dies- and added detail to
his collar I ref.d off pictures of him in the gallery c:
a few of you..or probably none lol knoow
I tend to glance at a ref. once or twice and never look back
thats... a bad habit of mine n__n;
this was so much fun to dooo gahh I have been in a little art
block for a while and these sketch pictures things I've been doing help a looot cx
I wasn't sure which version picture I liked
one with texture over (this one)
or
one without, which shows more of his "true" colors

i love atmosphere and feeling of the picture, it's so warm, and the background with sakura looks amazing. i always wanted to see how Midzuki would look in a more realistic style than i usually draw him.

The perspective of the face looks kind of odd, with the muzzle going so low down and the top of the face looking upward... it looks off, though it could be just 'cause of the bandana-thing covering the eye. o.o Unsure.
Either way I love how smooth you colour, and the incredibly soft colours you choose, this is so calm on the eye.

Ohyeah I see, I'm never able to draw like that... I'm always rather paranoid about my art, constantly ctrl+z-ing lol and flipping the drawing to find mistakes and such. No speedpainting for me ; ;

Ahh! You can't ctrl+z?! HOW DO YOU LIVE o__o; omfg. No ctrl+z at ALL? AHHH. That's... like... painting IRL. Wtf omfg that's impossible wtf ; ; I put my tablet to the side and my keyboard is under the compooper screen so I can always ctrl+z or [ ] to make my brush size larger or smaller or b or g or p to change from brush to paintbucket to pen tool or l for lasso or etc. because the keyboard is like AHH I need the keyboard what ; ;
FIX YOUR COMPOOPER DESK! AHH.

I have never painted in irl..in my life xD;
haha I always have wanted to but I don't sign up
for art classes and I don't have the money to go buy some supplies myself n_n;
so maybe this is kinda good practice than I thought cx

all I knew was..the ctrl+z & ctrl+y (learned from
mspaint -dies- )
my desk is too small since I have the computer
ontop of the desk as well and not..under like
most people have them ;;
but now I might want to fix that XD

You totally have to fix that x_x The keyboard is a major part in drawing! YOu can draw with JUST the keyboard! (Ok not really but maybe... partly...) >>; AHH FIX IT!

Unless its coloured pencils, i rarley do cartoons traditional either. i get messed up with the lines and it ends up a blobby mess. XD;
