Hey, I was going to respond to your thank you comment on me placing this picture on my favorite list, but the comment got eaten, so here is my response.
I was searching for pictures to help me keep winter in my mind when I was writing a story of mine that is set in a world that experiences perpetual winter when I found this one.
I just fell for it because of it just sort of looks like a clip from that world. I love the perspective on it, coming in from above and how you framed it with the big tree right in the middle. It just has the snowy feel of winter to it rather than the icy, biting cold feeling. It reminds me of the evenings muffled by the falling, fat flakes of snow. It's really very pretty and captures winter perfectly.
