The smoke stack is what I was talking about but if you wish to know what else I find gross about Sudbury...
1) The people are rude and greedy
2) The rock cliffs are not nice scenery... I highly dislike those
3) When looking for a doctor and you go to the house of commons or whatever.. you get told to "move out of sudbury"
4) Downtown...
There is more but I am done with speaking bad of my hometown... as much as I hate it I do miss it.

I lived there for 20 years of my life... I moved away twice, came back for family and moved away for good last december..
don't get me wrong, there are some good people there but the majority make me ashamed to be from Sudbury.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and like stated in my first reply, it is the smoke stack I was "ewwing" at not the city itself.
After living 20 out of my 23 years in Sudbury I say I am entitled to my opinion of the city and based on MY experience there the city is not my cup of tea. I like the outskirting towns and all but the city itself is not for me.

you have no clue what I am trying to tell you lol. the INCO is on strike and there hasent been a puff of smoke since. My friend told me that because I live in Thailand lol

I know they are on strike... my aunt's fiancee works for them... I may not live there anymore but my family still does.

It is not all that bad it is just certain things and alot of people but not all the people. I have a lot of friends still in Sudbury and I do still visit 
My Grandpa also used to work for INCO, 25 years, then they laid him off so he only gets a partial pention. I find it more the people in the downtown area, west end and the people with more money that are arrogant and such.
I grew up in Chelmsford, about 20min from actual Sudbury but also lived in the city aswell, with my aunt ^^ the Minnow Lake area is nice and quiet and around Cambrian College is nice aswell ^^
