Parasaurolophus is my favorite ornithopod and the most recognizable duckbill due to its peculiar trombone crest.The crest is simply an extension of the nose. It's thought to have helped Parasaurolophus communicate or create alarming sounds when a predator is near. It also probably was also used to recognize each other, choose a mate, and so on.

Hmmm...I wonder why I haven't seen this before...it's good! I would put a crest on the neck, but that can't be proven by fossil evidence...

I tend to leave my hadrosaurs kind of plain-ish, but it probably supported a sort of crest.
