Characters in an upcoming Season 2 of a long-running Pathfinder campaign I DM for.

Rhaenys, daughter of the Defiant Goddess, former elven witch Nyx, and the possibly dead Peri-born Aasimar Paladin Saundor. The subject of a prophecy set forth by a cabal of incredibly powerful hags, who conspired to have Nyx give birth to a child of Chaos, who would bring fire to the heavens, 20 years in the aftermath of her parents and their companions undoing the divine order by stealing back the Gods' Sacred Flame, returning it to the Abyss where it belonged, and replacing it with the primal, hungering, and ever-burning Flame of Chaos, an ember of which burns within Rhaenys' heart, as it did in her mother.

Gleam, half-drow daughter of the druid Nasirrah, and the last surviving bearer of Vishkanya blood, after the Fabled Lord of the ashen desert nation of Karthus banished her people from existence.

They live in the fallout of their predecessor's actions, having killed the few remaining gods of their world and undone their sinister machinations. In the years following this cataclysmic event, the Aeons have put their world up for grabs, as enormous towers descend from the sky, carrying the gods of other dimensions and their envoys, each vying for control over their plane, and seeking to cement their place in the newly open pantheon. Trained by a dread lich, the legendary necromancer Hailen Vendari, to combat the horrors of the Abyss, these intrepid heroes to be must take up the mantle of their forebearers, setting off to either completely deter the invasion of the prospective new gods of their world, or to ally with some of these divine agents to establish a pantheon that would secure the fate of their realm, for better or for worse.
