"I'll drown in my tears if I can't scream. I'll search for an escape way, even if it breaks me."
Probably the most meaningful piece I've done in months. Shatter Me, by Lindsey Stirling, is the main reference. Not only because it is about longing to be free and yielding for help, but also because I can put a face to the "someone" mentioned in the song. Besides that, way later on I acknowledged the videoclip was released on my 14th birthday, and the butterfly symbols (which I long relate to the "someone") are portrayed as well.
My call for help, the breakaway, faith and fight are represented in one song, and now in this piece.
