Drawing of Swamp Thing.Done with Staedtler pigment liner pens and prismacolour markers.
Actually started this image a while ago when I started messing around with these new markers, but I never got around to finishing the inking process on it until earlier this week while I was idling my time away between classes (I have a free period of three hours between my tuesday classes so I've been trying to fill that time with practice artwork).
As per usual (but for some reason must be specified on this site) critique is welcomed, encouraged and appreciated.

As someone who's never read the comics, may I ask... they couldn't come up with a better name than Swamp Thing?

There's actually a Marvel character equivalent called "Man Thing" which looks pretty much the same, except it has this kinda... root mustache, and it's not able to communicate as well.
The guys who created both of them were roommates at a time.

Man Thing, Swamp Thing, the Thing, Arm-Fall-Off-Boy--names like these hinder me from reading comics. I do not want to be hindered!

So then don't read comics with those characters XD Plus, I don't think Arm-Fall-Off-Boy was ever used much beyond his initial introduction, unless he's somehow suddenly gained popularity again.Β
(The Swamp Thing series by Allan Moore is actually REALLY good beeteedubs, so if you're wanting a good series to counter the weird name to help you get into things more then I'd recommend that one.)
