Description Mixed Skins is a chronicle of images with the intent of showing the viewer the different views of being biracial. These images seek to visualize the feelings of protection, rejection, acceptance and vulnerability. Each image holds an individual voice but also one voice as a whole.

This really speaks to me. I am an American with African american-Irish on one side and Italian-Lithuanian on the other. It can be so hard to really know where I belong while stressing to people not to simply lump me into one color, but acknowledge that I am biracial.
