"Everyone is here, right?"

PK surveyed her small group- three teams she'd chosen out of many merchants to accompany her. All the pokemon she'd invited seemed to be there, from the conceited Carvahna to the bad-mouthed Mienfoo. The tall, thin trees didn't provide much cover from peering eyes- the Kecleon curled and uncurled her tail, paranoid a Pokemon from the rival guilds would see her troops. This grove wasn't the best place to hide until they began their mission, but it was close to where they had to be.

James, the Murkrow leader of Team Occult stepped to her side. "Matthew and I are present, as are the members of Teams Transpire and Unfathomable."

"Shouldn't we hurry up and go soon?" Unfathomable's Carvahna leader, Betheny, asked impatiently, "We're supposed to be getting to that cave before those pathetic Rogues and Rescuers make it to their silly tower, aren't we?" She turned her head to Miro the Spinda, looking for back-up.

"...You're a really, really big fishie, Bebe!" He told her, apparently awestruck by the size of the average female Carvahna.

His Mienfoo partner glared at him. "Drop it, Miro." Jackson snapped, noticing the venom-filled glare the Spinda was recieving.

"But- aw, fine." Miro pouted. Betheny turned away in a huff.

"You better drop it." She growled.

"Hey bro," Jackson spun around at the sound of another voice, coming face to face with Matthew. "Chill out a little."

He narrowed his eyes, opting to stay silent as he stepped away uneasily from the Spiritomb. Betheny's rather quiet partner, Alice, stepped backwards as well to avoid bumping in to him.

Matthew's grin grew wider as he looked the Mienfoo and Mankey over. "Fighting types are the best to have corpse parties with, after ghost types of couse."

Jackson's ears flopped down against the sides of his head. "..Excuse me?"

"Corpse parties." He repeated. Alice flinched, pulling her long blue scarf a little farther over her face.

" ...What."

"Ignore him. He's an imbecile." James intervened, sending a harsh stare over to his partner.

PK shook her head at the teams she'd chosen. She hadn't made a mistake, they'd all done relatively well. She never made mistakes!

"All of you, be quiet! We've got a strategy to go over!" She spat. All the teams immediately silenced themselves.

"I told you, in the letters, that we'd be fighting a Pokemon, Virizion, named Coliche. Big, yellow and green, she's got a silly hat , and she's not particularly friendly." PK paced in front of the other pokemon, a light gray stone tucked under one arm. "Coliche is going to try to stop us at all costs- But we can't be stopped, because like I said before, this is a mission that can't be failed! We have got to get this stone to that altar no matter what Greenie here wants."

Jackson crossed his arms. "There's 7 of us, are you saying that we couldn't win in a fight?"

PK stomped her foot in the grass, crushing one of the many flowers lying about. "Of course not! Coliche is incredibly powerful, not even Gunpowder would pick a fight with her! That's why I came up with a strategy."

The Kecleon looked over her shoulder, making sure she could see no other Pokemon, before turning back to her Merchants. "This is the plan. We're splitting up, Team Unfathomable is going to accompany me to Icy Cavern while Transpire and Occult deal with Coliche. Your job is not to beat her," She send a sharp stare at Jackson, "It is to distract her long enough for us to make it into the cave. Once we are inside, it's going to be Matthew's job to use Hypnosis on her. By the time she wakes up, we'll already be way to far ahead for her to even think about giving chase!"

Alice raised her hand weakly, and PK gave her a nod. "W-what if she does follow?"

PK scoffed. "There are mazes and traps in there, and she doesn't know how they work any better than we do! She'd only be able to follow our footprints for so long. It's gonna be her versus the tower and everyone in it. There's safety in numbers, but only the big ones!"

"So, can we head out now?" Betheny grumbled.

PK adjusted her grip on the Godstone. "Stay behind me, and when I give the signal, it's go time." She stepped forward, "Now let's go."
