Looks very sexy. Barefoot instead of flats or sandals I see

From the thumbnail I thought she was Storm. But Zecora's awesome too. I could look at your designs all day.

Always loved that hairstyle she got for Nightmare Night. A full mane just looks so glorious on her. The same is true for her human form here. And the fact that the dress is this short doesn't meet with my disapproval either, considering how good said form looks.
Some nice gentle bits of shading here, most importantly on the hair, and it's a refreshingly non-anime body shape as well. I like, I really do. Well done.

Yeah, I always liked her costume, but I was never really sure if it was supposed to be in reference to anything. The wiki says it's a witch doctor, but it reminds me of the mystical old crones of European descent. I also only gave her one earring on purpose. I don't know why. It just felt right I guess?
Thanks for commenting on the form. I've been using one of those automated timed figure drawing exercises. I'm hoping it'll help me develop my own style instead of just emulating other peoples'.

Yeah, and one earring also feels mighty cute on her there, in combination with her look. I too think it's a generally generic witch/witchdoctor blend, which I actually rather like, as the two archetypes are very rarely, if ever, intermingled and yet make a lot of sense this way.
And yeah, the figure. It may not result in a full-on "separate style", given how many there are already, but it sure can make for bodies that look great and are neither stick figures nor otherwise exaggerated or grotesque. I really like it when people manage to make humans feel like humans body-wise, even if they keep the faces cartoony.

Yeah, I like how expressive cartoony faces can be. I'm okay with exaggerating the body, but some people take it a little too far for my tastes. I want to be able to stylize the human form, but still show that it's rooted with reality. A lot of my favorite artists tend to draw either very realistically, or very stylistically. I guess I'm subconsciously trying to create a middle ground for myself.
