What can I say? One of those moments that stay encrypted in your mind for months. Probbaly most touching moment I've ever photographed.
Older brother feeding younger brother noodles from a leaf plate with mum and her puppies waiting to get their share.
It's a long series as you can imagine so more to come soon.

Great Photography. My mother is from Laos, we visited last summer. I tried to avoid taking pictures of people, though, because one religion, I forget which, believes that photography captures part of a person's soul, and who wants their soul on the internet?
Wonderful portrayal of the life my mother lived for five years, before they escaped to Thailand and then to America during the Vietnam War.
So very sweet, so very heartbreaking.

I really miss Laos and my family that is still back there. This photo brings me comfort and a huge smile to my face. What a loving brother! And adorable dogs. : D

My daughter is only a little younger than the youngest boy. Looking at that picture all I saw was her face. It reminds me how priviledged and spoiled I am and how much I don't appreciate what my life has given me. Thank you for being aware enough to capture this moment. I hope the future provides you with more of these moments, so you can come back and share them with us.

Thats kinda common, i think they have some what of good food to eat, better than some babies here that instead of eating good baby powdered milk, they need to eat CONDENSED milk (the sticky yellow thing u stir up with milk powder to make a glass of hot milk/milo/ovaltine) because their family couldn't afford it.
But that's a some, anyways.

It's extremely touching. This photo reminds me of what I imagine what my father went through. At such a young age, he had to take care of himself and his younger sister since their parents were gone.
