I don't upload a lot of work from Qatar, the country I am currently based in.
The reason is simple: There isn't much to photograph.
No social issues of great concern, no poverty, no sights and not a lot of nature. It is just the best possible place to explore the world from given its central location.
You do however from time to time get the odd shot that you like. Here is one of those.

Very interesting framing.
Maybe we always consider places where we live for longer time as not interesting? No social issues, poverty, events, etc, but aren't we used to follow the same paths all the time(shops, home, cinema, whatever, pub, coffee)? While going elsewhere we are looking for something interesting, being lost in the places we do not know? No sights, nature because we are so used to this place and everything is so common and boring for us? It is just my personal thoughts about this what You have written bellow You photo

When I first saw the thumbnail I thought it was an military post in Iraq. What part of Qatar are you in? I've went to Doha for a couple of days 3 years ago. Great picture, all of your pictures are fantastic!!

Thank you! Qatar doesn't really have many "parts", there's the capital Doha and some sleepy fishing villages.
