Ooh, this is quite nice timing for me; I just read a story in Star Trek: The New Voyages 2 the other day called "The Procrustean Petard" (written by Sondra Marshak and Myrna Culbreath in ~1978, I believe), and it heavily involves Kirk's friendship with Spock and his not-so-friendly (at first) interactions with Kang. It was kind of a weird one, but I enjoyed it!
Oh, but aside from that, I really love this picture! The colors are fantastic, and the faces look SO much like the actors. Awesome job. : D
