On this picture, I guess a slightly different framing may have given it more impact (getting the visible part of the face a bit more in the middle, I mean lower in the picture), but anyway, I love this series, outstanding!

I think the framing is a matter of taste, I personally think this frame suits this shot more then a center frame. I feel like this gives the image some movement to it and makes it more mysterious, like a stranger passing by. I have more photo's of this series where I did frame it more to the center, but for this one I thought this suited best

Also, if you wouldn't mind, I've never done corpsepaint or similar myself, but I've been meaning to try. What would you recommend for a beginner, makeup-wise I mean?

This was also my first time, the products I used:
NYX Jumbo Pencil Milk (it's just a big white eye pencil)
Sephora black pencil (just a small black eye pencil is fine)
Gel liner MAX (NYX has also a Jumbo Pencil called 'Black bean' which works just as well)
Stila - The Eyes Are The Window palette in Mind (Any matt gray & black eyeshadow will do)
I like the Jumbo Pencils from NYX because they are very cheap and have a good coverage. You can also use face paint but my experience is that cheap face paint doesn't cover well enough and I didn't want to spend to much $ on good face paint. Hope this helps^^
