I heard them for the first time in november 2005, when I was driving through Germany.. They played Durch den Monsun like 1000 times a day on the radio.. (this was right after it was out) and I fell in love with the sound.. amazing

i guess their music conects to all ages ^^ u can relate to the lyrics and music is ageless.
i think i first heard them when Monsoon first came out and it was being played on MTV. it wasnt until i got Guitar Hero: World Tour that i properly started to get into them because of Monsoon being on its tracklist ^^ i am under TH's spell! and i love it

haha same. i always have my tokio hotel playlist on, but im getting into other german bands like cinema bizarre and Panik. i tried listening to sami deluxe, it was okay... but you really need to understand the language, which i dont

German is really easy to learn.. It's difficult gramatic wise, but it's easy to learn for listening to and understanding the lyrics at least

i know some german, like if its written down but sometimes they speak too fast for me to hear it lol i really do want to learn tho, for when i finally meet them
the languages depend. the german versions obviously sound more natural, beautiful, and it gives the songs their full effects and a deeper meaning ^^ there older songs are done in german, so if you listen to the german versions, thats a bonus ^^
i like the english ones too, because you can actually understand them

Yeah.. I have their cd's in both german and english.. I kind like the german ones better, except Automatic.. I dunno why, I just like that song better in english..

hhhmmm...in the versions i have, they both sound different. i think the english one sounds smoother :/ and the words fit the rhythm better ^^ i really like geisterfahrer but the girl singing in the middle ruins it.
