I'll submit this now? Suuuure I'll submit this now!This is a SUPER DUPER OVERDUE trade half with the lovely *Thunderflight ! <333. The flats have been sitting on my desktop for like... 3 or 4 months.... so ignoring the blatant anatomy failings would be stellar. <__<; This is her AMAZING half [link] ohmygodit'sbeenalmostayearsobsob. And on TOP of all of it, we were doing a traditional trade. And dammit I TRIED the tradeeshional thing! I did! And it looked icky! I tried like 5 times! But noooo! So I thought this'd at least tide you over until those silly pencils shared their secrets with me <__<.
I wanted to try something paintish and fast for the background. The aim was to look whispy and organic... but it just sort of looks rushed and unfinished. Must work at thisssss

How cow, those WINGS. Omg you are so awesome at wings fjdkfj <3 Really great job with the feather sizes and shapes, and as always, they're coloured beautifully.
I think the background works! It's almost like a 'depth of focus' blur that you get with a camera. c: I love the little river/stream down there too. It looks shiny and magical and glowy and YEAH.
Also this is really stupid and random but I like the whiskers. They're not just straight, random lines; you've actually shown them to be coming out of the right areas on the face and also shown them to be coming towards the viewer. Probably not making any sense here BUT I LIKE THEM K. >>;
