HELLO FRIENDS!!! Not having internet at home is the worst. Progress on all fronts is pretty slow while I transition between houses and jobs (or not jobs. Who knooooowssss), so thanks for your patience!
IN THE MEANTIME THOUGH have an art trade with the LOVELY Illuminaiae !! It has taken me FAR too long to finish this, and I'm super sorry about that. THOUGH all my rock technique came from my recent collab with Giiana , so the rocks wouldn't have been as much fun if I had finished this earlier. Yes good.
I was going for a semi-fantasy kinda deal with the background with all the stars and the space bits and the clouds, which are supposed to look spinny and time lapse-y, which I hope is apparent? And big rocks. I really want to keep practicing my rocks now omg.

I love the spacey multicoloured sky as well, makes for a really interesting mystical atmosphere.

ROCKS ARE THE WORST. But my trade half with you is a lot of rocks so I'm glad I got the practice in. THE ROCKS WILL BE GLORIOUS NOW!!! now if only I had a desk and a second to draw <__<.

Man I just LOVE the bg in this though! Purples and oranges are my weakness ahhhh!! I can't believe how many rocks are in this pic though. I would have gone insane bc rocks=/wrists!!! Anyway really neat pic! Less internet = MORE COLORING?!?!

I LOVE PURPLE AND ORANGE. I love it when you do them too. I LOVE IT WHEN YOU COLOR THINGS EEEEE!!! And the rocks didn't take too long! I use a really bitey textured brush that makes it look more detailed than it is <___<.
AND YOU'D THINK SO WOULDN'T YOU. What actually seems to be happening is that I go and spend an INORDINATE amount of money at Panera and Coffee Tree Roasters on soup and coffee and spend all my free time sucking up their wifi until it's really late, and then I go home, color something for like 2 hours, feel lonely because I have no internet, and go to bed early. What does this help. Nothing. it helps nothing.

Okay! I don't even know where to start because this is awesome and amazing and I don't care that it took so long. My half took me forever too. Like FOREVER AND EVER. Definitely we will need to trade again sometime, when things calm down for both of us. YOU have so many characters so yes! Will do this again.

I love the spinning clouds... its like is there a star close by that's dying and the gravity is effecting the world, or is she in a place that's located in a worm hole? There's so MUCH of that speculation for me that its just is so perfect. And that starry galaxy. MMMMM STARS! SPACE TOO MUCH LOVE FOR ALL THAT. I love the feel of the galaxy just floating through space all pretty without a care in the world. And those Rocks! You totally excelled yourself with them and I love how BARREN the place seems- likes its dead, which does ring true to some of the places she ends up, at least she does in my head world (which I never really talk about so..). The Lighting I LOVE IT. The way it dances off the rocks and how there's not only the colors bouncing around the landscape, but that they bounce into her fur, and its just perfect and awesome. The whole piece has an atmosphere to me that's a bit heavy and ominous in the dark with the barren rocks, but Ista's pose and how calmly she walks just screams confidence and also intent in whatever her purpose there is. Its So awesome.

I am so over the moon with this piece and so absolutely BOUNCING up and down and Loving this so much. You did a fantastic job with my wacky brainchild. So so SO pleased. <3<3<3

I really struggled to find a good background for this. I think that's why I restarted so many times. The background was completely different every single time, too. I finally settled on this one after seeing some neat desert pictures and some swirly time lapse clouds and I went BOTH!!!! So I'm SUPER glad that it worked out sort of semi-canonically. Always strive to be semi-canonical!
