I have to say that I would like to know this style of shading, lol! The whole thing turned out great as always, & I love the hair too! That little flower ties the whole picture together!

Decided to play with the layer type to either types like darken/overlay to give the colour more life. Also, using the gradient to select the areas in need of shading and then from their give it a bit of blur/smudging. Just been using the free hand select to get the areas.

Yup, thats true. I was trying to look at tutorials but dA decided to not load pictures so I just went ahead and did my own thing, since I really wanted to finish it today.
