LOCK S-FOILS IN ATTACK POSITION! The Incom T-65 X-wing space superiority star fighter is one legendary craft. The fighter that brought down the first death star and the fighter of choice for the famous rogue squadron. It featured great agility, durability and range (do to its own hyperdrive) featuring four wing mounted KX9 laser cannons and dual launch tubes for proton torpedoes, the t-65 is nothing to mess with. Along with its high speed and maneuverability it has its own deflector shields and bay for an R2 astromech droid. After the empire fell it continued to be service even after being replaced by the Incom T-70 x-wing.

Here is my finished Bandai 1/72 x-wing fighter. Built primary "outta the box"(with the exception of decals) I had already built a red 5(the kit and Luke’s wing) so I painted this one in a few different greens/browns, with the thinking it might be a post war, trainer or militia unit. This was a really fun and great model to work on. Overall it features loads of cool gimmicks and detail. It was a pretty easy build (not in a bad way though) and other than a few minor mistakes/gripes I am pretty happy with how it came out. At some point I’ll have to get some shots of it in battle with my TIE (as the bases connect together too)
