BACKSTORY }
Voltaire was the youngest of three siblings born. He had two brothers who were significantly larger and stronger than him when he was a pup. The majority of the others in his pack looked down on him for not being like his brothers. His parents were the leaders of the pack. In their hierarchy, Voltaire was never likely to become the alpha, because of this he was constantly teased by his brothers. Voltaire's mother, Nerea, was never nice to him as she never wanted a third pup. Before Voltaire was born Nerea was tortured and raped by her father, this mentally screwed her up quite bad. She ended up killing her father because of this abuse. Voltaire had a special mutation in his genes that made him grow at an accelerated rate as he hit puberty.

Voltaire ended up looking like Nerea's father marking-wise this made her hate him even more. Every day he would take a beating from his mother, his father Aldrin was too busy to ever notice that he was hurt. All his father cared about were his other two sons. As Voltaire got older, he began to stand up for himself to his mother. The more he defied her, the angrier she became. He started to develop a crush on a pack mate by the name of Aria who would hang out with his older brother Victor quite often. His brother would tell her awful things so he never had a chance with her. He finally built up the courage to ask her if she wanted to hang out and, she pretty much rejected him and laughed in his face. Victor ended up telling their mother about Voltaire's feelings for Aria, she got so angry with Voltaire because of this that she tried to castrate him. He fought back causing his mother to gave him a horrible injury across his eye.
Aria and Victor ended up becoming mates. Because of everything that happened to him Voltaire began harming himself. One morning his father Aldrin mysteriously passed away in his own den. The hierarchy then pointed to Voltaire's oldest brother, Victor who became alpha. Voltaire was demoted to omega once his brother took charge. The new pack leaders looked down upon the pack, this seemed to be common practice to Voltaire.
Slowly but surely Voltaire's mind was deteriorating. The night finally came where Nerea tried to blame him for his father's death, he snapped and murdered her. The pack was in shock, they refused to believe that Voltaire was capable of doing this. By this time Voltaire was a young adult, he was fully grown and was a lot larger and stronger than his brothers due to the mutation of his genes. He never mentally saw himself as anything more than a pup, all he knew after taking his mother's life it was the end of this misery. He ended up killing his brother Victor and raping his former crush in their den. His other brother Ventus tried to stop Voltaire but died trying.
After all this Voltaire became the new pack leader killing off anyone who didn't 'bow' down to him, this being majority of the pack. Even though he was badly injured Voltaire left the area where he lived his whole life. After a short amount of time he met another creature worthy of his trust, his name being Phantom. They became the best of friends, Phantom helped Voltaire recover eventually parting ways on good terms, they would eventually see each other a few years later. Voltaire ended up meeting a sweet young fae named Wishgrove, not too long after this they becoming mates. After a while Voltaire, feeling as though she was too pure having not knowing pain in her whole life, left her. He disappeared for a while until one day she contacted him to say that she was pregnant with three pups. Voltaire snapped, insane thoughts crossed his mind about his mother and brothers being reborn. He tore out her uterus, Wishgrove was devastated, those pups meant the world to her. Voltaire did it to protect her.. he thought. If they were born, they'd kill her or even before they came out, drain her life source. After that, Voltaire stayed lurking in the shadows, his mind was corrupt...
