My first tutorial goes a little more in depth. You might want to refer to this: [link]But I hope this helps, too! This is for the lots of you who wanted something with how to do stuff on Photoshop...This covers both PS and CW.

How do you make those backgrounds with fonts included and lines? Is that something you have to do in photoshop or do you do it all by hand?

Those are screentones. You can purchase those at deleter.com or find them to use on photoshop on the internet. There are computer programs like ComicWorks and Manga Studio that have screentones - that's where mine are from.

question: when I adjust the image size, I put everything in correctly, but when I click OK the image gets smaller. Like everything gets compressed and widescreenish HELP!

Make sure your sizes are set to "inches" and not "pixels" or "centimeters"

Google the programs...prices vary depending where you find them, but they're somewhere in $100 range.
You can make tones in Photoshop. Look into downloading textures and manga tone patterns. Google that, too (: Google is our friend~
