This is Kino ^^ Decided to draw him since he's not getting much of a part in the comic lately...XD;
Tried to give this painted look...done on Painter and mostly PS7 @_@;

well painter has a cool tool called "tint" but photoshop has a brush that does very similar effects. i believe it's the group of brushes that come after the airbrushes

I'm writing a story with a character named Kino, and it's almost frightening how much these two look alike in my head.

My Kino has nearly the same hair, but's brown, and he has green-golden flecked eyes.

Beautiful, painterly style... I love the smooth, pastel textures (yes, textures) here taht are really so soft and hazy and moist... the title "Mist" fits it to a tee.

Oh, enchan, Kino looks so good. I mean, his eyes look so unbelievably pretty. @.@ Just the colors you used make them look so liquid and pretty. Pretty pretty pretty. I'll say that word a couple more times to get my point across.
And it does look painterly! Just because of how soft the edges are, and how they look slightly blurred. Almost dream-like and surreal...
