Whole time I've just gotten the feeling this comic will go non-con angles and been like well. . . dogs die, why not dogs being dogs? Because the whole artificial insemination thing involves drawing humans more and maybe the artist didn't mean to, but they've pushed on me as a reader that this comic is about the relationship the female wolf will have with the dog and how it will alter her. Which in dog fighting, breeding abuse happens.

Or maybe I'm too informed on how dog fighting works in rl and can't see these wolves hyped to be bred not being bred. Wolf dog fights are pretty wack.

Yeah there will probably be mentions of rape in
the comic but idk who the author will put more blame on;
the dog or the owner.

I mean, can't blame the owners because breeding dogs isn't rape. I know the wolves and dogs are portrayed humanely, but breeding animals isn't equal to rape on a plane of blame. The dogs would likely be blamed, as ethically they don't have to do anything unless forced, and they seem willing or like they might have experience doing this. But violation of life and body already is present. Death in the fights is the worst fate. Animals tend to recover from trauma faster than humans.

But last time I applied any of this logic it got people yelling at me because I guess the comic's not supposed to make us think, just be pretty?

Yeah, that's essentially why animals can't really rape, 
not that they really do mind you, because they don't really give consent.
Their instincts just say make babies.

But yeah last time I ever tried to talk to people about rape and such people
either say that it's deserved because "it'll teach that character a lesson for being naive" 
(yes that was a real response that I've gotten from someone, big yikes) or they say 
that someone was raped when there was consent, just uncertainty at first. People 
usually avoid talking about rape in any form of media altogether for that reason, because everything is
in black and white and can't be discussed in any other way.

It wasn't on rape so much as something else, some topic on. . . oh yeah, think it was wolves eat dead pups and don't bury them so the burying scene in such a limited area where they might not be fed came off weird. So people got mad because how dare I say a wolf would eat dead pups and burying them where humans WILL dig them up(they're breeding, they'll want to examine the dead pups for health reasons), so I sort of laughed because it was casual and everyone tried to sort of be snappy, like PMs and replies on the comic and then deleting their replies later and crap. Like guys, animals eat abortions and reabsorb fetuses, chill.

Yeah I personally don't get why people get all pissy about nature.
Obviously that wouldn't happen in the comic because the animals are
humanized to discuss topics in a way we can interpret but if a wolf is exhausted 
and malnourished they will eat the dead puppies to gain nutrients back. 
I mean they'll eat it either way but still. It's the same reason why animals eat placenta...
to get nutrients back.

I think even humanized feral animals would do it. Unlike furries and anthros. Either way, the comic opens itself to a lot of questions on how things work in its world and the author and fans don't seem happy when anything is questioned, which is sad. Comics make for plenty of curiosity and questions, but a confusing one can end up needed more explanation.
