However, its other senses are still rather powerful, making it the ultimate tracker Pokemon in harsh frozen ecosystems like the summits of mountains and frigid tundras.

The Armor-like Ice that covers its body is said to be as cold as Permafrost, making it near-impossible to melt and even difficult to damage. It's believed that if the Ice that covers its body is removed, then its spirit will leave its body and its body will turn into snow.
