Trivia:
- Namekians are a species that is exclusively male. If a female wielder of the Omnitrix such as Gwen 10 were to transform into a Namekian, then they would transform into a male Namekian regardless of their gender.
- In ancient times, a group of traveling Saiyans taught the Namekians how to utilize Ki.
- Unlike Gem fusion, Namekian fusion is permanent as it is more of an assimilation with one of the Namekians being the host. This technique is forbidden amongst Namekian people with the only instances where all other options being unavailable were with Piccolo doing it twice, the first time being with Nail in order to fight Okarot, and the second time being with Kami so that they could become whole again in order to fight Solar Cell.
- Piccolo could still hear Nail and Kami in his head after having fused with them.
- Even though Ben can use the fusion technique as Slug Thug, he refuses to use it. He much rather prefers to use Emerald's form of fusion in which anyone he fuses with can split from him if they both wish to do so or when the Omnitrix times out.
- For some reason, some people confuse Namekians for Yoshisaurs and vice-versa.
- Approximately three-hundred years ago, the earliest Namekians encountered on Earth were King Piccolo and his sons, (though not counting Kami) and they were destructive and caused chaos throughout the Earth until their eventual narrow defeat at the hands of Master Mutaito and his pupils (including Master Roshi and Master Shen).
- The Namekians and Saiyans used to trade with each other, but stopped after the cataclysm of which created a great climate shifting disaster. It is also known that Namekians had a vast knowledge of technology, because the Nameless Namekian was spirited away to Earth in a spaceship (with Namekian language voice recognition) prior to the cataclysm.
- In the present era, there were just over 100 Namekians alive on their home planet, as they had been killed off a generation before, by a great tempest. The a few of the only known survivors are Grand Elder Guru, and the nameless Namekian, who was sent to safety on Earth.
- There is a Namekians who is a member of the Green Lantern Corps around the time of Frieza's failed invasion of Vegeta.
- Up until the arrival of Nappa and Vegeta, Piccolo and his mutated brothers were considered demons by the Forever Knights due to the evil nature of King Piccolo and his sons.
- Kami's status as a Namek was not generally known, though he would not have been considered a demon. Some point after Kami came to Earth, he lost memory of his home-world, and thus, Kami forgot where he originated from, but remembered most of his native language. During the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament Kami (in the human Hero's body) and Piccolo spoke to each other is said language.
- Goku began to train under Kami after they were introduced to each other by Piccolo.
- King Piccolo spawned a number of mutated sons. It is possible that King Piccolo's evil caused his own sons (including Cymbal, Drum, Piano, and Tambourine) to be mutated and malformed, so much so that they did not even resemble normal Namekians.
- One day, Namek was terrorized by Vegeta and Okarot as well as a host of his soldiers during a battle against Senzu State Goku and Senzu State Okarot. The planet was ultimately destroyed by Okarot's army as a last-ditch effort to kill Goku, in their battle (during the what in the main continuity would have been the Frieza Saga). All of the Namekians were temporarily transported to Earth, where they lived for nearly a year. When Okarot was defeated, the Namekians used the Namekian Dragon Balls and made a wish to Porunga, the Namekian Dragon, for a new planet identical to the original Namek, they called it New Namek.
- Later on, the young Namekian named Dende, is chosen by Goku to be Kami's replacement as a new guardian of the Earth's Dragon Balls on Earth.
