Name: Amaryllis 'Amy' Iren

Info: Queen Amaryllis Iren is the current ruler of Sedna, widowed by the late King, Halcyon Iren II. She is a kind and loving leader, showing nothing but the utmost compassion for her subjects, no matter their race or origin. However, she is not soft, and will sternly enforce the laws of her kingdom, punishing rightly those who break them.

She and her lover were coronated at the young ages of 21 and 22 respectively after the old age passing of King Halcyon Iren I. She was widowed only a year later when her husband was killed in a freak jousting accident, the King having boastfully challenged a famed jouster from the Kingdom of Arelanad only to have taken the opposing joust in just the wrong spot through his armor. She always had her suspicions that it was no accident at all, as she never heard from or of the Arelenad warrior again. However, she has never come closer to discovering the truth. At the time, she was pregnant with his daughter, Princess Venora Iren.

Amaryllis is one of the most powerful healers in the land, and uses her abilities to aid anyone who comes before her as best she can. Unfortunately, her powers grow less useful the further away from the kingdom's capital and castle she is, and so it is often found that one will never find a sick person in the Capital City of Faemantle, whilst one may find many in the settlements and villages most distant from her healing touch. She will grow weak and ill if she is taken from the Castle, leaving her stuck to live out her days within its sprawling walls.

Amaryllis has one sibling, a younger sister named Ariel Lenori. She serves as the Queen's Second, a most trusted advisor. Since she can leave the castle freely, she is the Queen's eyes and ears for the goings on of the kingdom.

Personality: Kind, benevolent, sympathetic to the plights of others

Likes: Visiting the border of Mistgrove, quiet nights, healing the sick

Dislikes: Being left in the dark, being unable to leave the castle, cruelty

Extra: Amaryllis' late father-in-law, King Halcyon Iren I, was married to Queen Frida Iren, who is the same Queen that famously disappeared without a trace within the same hour of the execution of one of Mearis' followers.

Update (1/26/2017) - Amaryllis' design has been updated so that her skin color is closer to that of her daughter and sister, rather than drastically different as it was. Her clothing has also changed because it looks better.
