Description
One of my favourite characters from the Pokemon franchise, Banette is possibly one of the spookiest Pokemon around. In this pic, he's 'helping' a doll become another Banette (check his Pokedex entry if you're confused). The background is a little crappy, since I didn't plan on putting him in a cemetery at all , but it will have to do

Banette is the shit. Driven to life by the pain and resulting hatred of being abandoned by a child, then searching for that child... poetic and heart-touching, yet twisted in an oh-so perfect combination of the two.
What if it never finds the child? What if it does? What happens then? Does it return to it's lost friend, or does the hatred turn to rage and the child (who may now very well be an adult!), suffer the consequences? Or does it, upon learning that nothing bad was ever intended, simply pass away in peace? Oh, oh, maybe they're reunited as friends once more? That seems like a typical Pokemon outlook.
So many questions, so few answers. The mind wonders indeed.

This is amazing. I was looking for some inspiration on my banette oneshot for Halloween and I just found it. Banette are probably one of the most diabolical ghost pokemon ever! Sweet work on this. ^^

The thought of a mute pokemon putting a finger to its sealed shut mouth makes me chuckle. I second the opinion that that toy looks like Scrump. I don't know why someone would put a rag doll in a graveyard, but this is cool anyway. Banette's probably my favourite ghost after sableye (one of my favourite Hoenn pokemon ever).

Favorited, because... that's just awesome, man. I mean, there's a really good background, and an especially good picture in general. Really good shading, really good representation of the pokemon. (ie it didn't look like you realisticicated [lol] it)
