So i came up with this guy when this was running through my head. He is a dragon soul trying to come back to life. In order to do so, He must do selfless things to earn another scale. Slowly but surly, scale by scale, his soul of yellow will be completely covered, and his life restored.

And yes, I meant for him to look that skinny He died of starvation in the desert, searching for something. But he lost memory of what it was when he died. That unfulfilled search is part of the reason he was doomed to haunt the earth of my brain.
