The idea for this artwork came to me a few days ago. I thought, "What if Rika was brought into the world of Wonderland to be given a chance to escape her crappy circumstances for awhile?" Given what is going on between her and Satoko becoming a possessive Yandere towards Rika, I thought she could use a break. It's only a what if and is in no way, shape, or form canon. It's more like a head canon and an idea I have for a short story series featuring Rika.

Alice will be present in my story as well, that's why I drew her in the background. The Bloody Twins, Dee and Dum would bring Rika to Wonderland because why not. An ever vengeful Satoko would haunt Rika's dreams and she would have to work through to see what these dreams mean. Again, I'm just spitting ideas at the wall here.

Overall, I spent several hours coloring this illustration. I did my best to take my time and try some new coloring tricks. Now that I have a pencil sharpener that works now, expect a few more drawings in the future. I still have yet to contribute to "Mer-mAY" so please look forward to that. I colored Dee and Dum's suits differently than how they appear in their respective Visual Novel/Games. Instead of the gray pinstripes (which got washed out by black), I colored their pinstripes in blue and red respectively. I liked how they popped out.

Rika's dress is slightly based on the dress from the 2010 version Alice In Wonderland directed by Tim Burton. It's green and Pinkish instead of the traditional blue. Why? Mostly because I wanted to do something a bit different. Also Rika's main dress is greenish so why not?
