I did this when I got home from work today. So it's quick, it's rough, it's.. yeah. Deal with it. OC tourneys are about having fun, not churning out ungodly amounts of portfolio work every match.
It's a sort of a mini-version of what I originally had planned for the ending. And since tonight was the last bit of free time I'll have this weekend (leaving on road trip tomorrow), I figured I would sit down and see if I couldn't crank out a little sort of mini-epilogue for the match.
Needless to say, I couldn't kill Dembe and Qian. Neither can Lilith, really. She's not the type of villainess to dispose of anything she can readily use. :3
As for Clockwork Bunny, well.. he had a big 'ol meal out of that airship. And as it grows, its appetite grows with it. |D
This was one of the scenes I'd wanted to expand on, with Clockwork actually running amok on the ship and devouring everything in sight, but.. alas, not meant to be.
Anyway, hope you guys like.

I know that you cut off the end of the previous strip due to time constraints but I honestly think it turned out for the better flow wise. It took the story to a dark place showing Lilith capable of the utmost evil and killing intent whilst giving the audience a nice emotional jar. As for the mini-epilogue, in truth the rest of the end of that strip, you have shown a much more resourceful, even if its for her own gain, almost merciful side. I do love a waste not want not philosophy myself. I honestly enjoy your work on this project just for your incredibly detailed and fully flushed-out characters. So rough rush job or not I still enjoyed it immensely. Ever since you started posting Lilith and Ree pieces I have been readily awaiting more elaboration and pieces on them. Your level of work is well worth waiting for. I personally would love to know what you use and how you use it...so if you ever have any free time with naught to do then I humbly request--suggest a tutorial.

A bit hasty aren't we? It was an understandable comment. Endling has made references to outside sources before...
If he had a problem with it, he could have addressed the situation himself, in a manner he sees fit.

I never said I was making a comparison the two. I definately wasn't going 'OMG YOU RIPPED THIS OFF OF A MOVIE/ANIME YOUR A LAME ARTIST" like 'someone' said about one of his earlier works where Endling made a western version of his character Rex. I was just wondering if he got the idea for it from that or was making a tribute to it like some artists do in some of their works to things they liked, even if he didn't I'd like to know. I believe End is a good enough person to reply if he gets around to reading a comment that catches his interest, even if it is a negative thing sometimes. Though it is unlikely with the amount of comments I'm sure he receives. Since your not him, all I can say is do you really know if that is what he believes and should you be responding at all to a question you can't answer unless you can read his mind. You advance nothing but your own opinion, why waste time even replying to my comment in the first place? You could of said something about the actual work I was leaving a comment for instead of picking out my comment to shoot down.

The only reason I said it was because I read a similar comment on one of his scraps and he kinda Sarcastically hit the commenter back. If you think this brief stint explains everything about what the bunny is/does you would be sorely mistaken. Haha.
Asides, this is the steampunk version made for this themed tourney. In the actual Ree storyline he's not a steam-built mech. Whole different ballgame.
