I was not happy with myself concerning this round.

Guess there's been too much on my mind lately to focus properly on having fun with my work/concepts/execution. I dunno. No making excuses.

I dodged a bullet this round, I will fully admit. Given a look at what my opponent was creating before she forfeited, I think this woulda been my swan song.

Humbling, it is.

I pretty much mangled Gotts' character, and I'd like to apologize right now for doing so, having gone off the wrong parts of her reference sheet to try and assemble his personality.

In hindsight the match goes a lot quicker than I wanted it to, choppier even. Gluttony is also one of the gals I had the least amount of ideas of what to do with in a versus setting, but I wanted to work my way up to the tougher girls as the tournament continued. Anyway.

I guess this is just a second chance I'm getting to better myself next round. And I intend on it.

Before I go, some things to clear up:

Where are the other Sin girls?

All the Sins are traveling within the same body, as Pride stated in the introduction, to prevent any of them from being caught off guard.

What's with Vuuk?

As far as I can tell from Gotts' ref sheet, Vuuk has some sort of crezzy lycanthrope-ish ability that triggers when he is hungry. A mouth opens up in the band on his nose and spews out a bunch of black filmy smoky stuff with a ton of equally toothy mouths. And engulfs him. Insomuch as I could tell. :3 He was fun to draw.

What's going on in the last panel?

Gluttony has set Vuuk up in an odd contraption designed to 'borrow' the energy of his essence itself, a sort of sacrificial pyre that doesn't require the host to be dead, just a soul or living essence. It is part of the plot that Pride has set into motion. The black column of dark energy being shot into the sky is a permanent one, resonating with all kindsa evil and stuff. You know. Standard issue. X3
