I never could understand why every one said those albums sucked! especially St. Anger; which is very thrash metal and that's what Metallica started out as, a thrash metal band!

I'm so glad that you aggree with me! its so cool! I say it to other people and they're all like "those albums sucked" or "they're not proper 'Metallica' albums"... and really don't understand why!

exactly.
to me, fan = supporter through thick and thin.
People are just so stuck with the thing Metallica = thrash metal ONLY, that they automatically refuse whatever is slightly different from MoP or RTL or KEA.
Fortunately, Metallica have many fans, and lots of them are like us, and to go beyond the first 4 albums.
The others can either admit that they aren't true fans, or go burn in hell.

absolutely!! It's a strange mix but it works really well! It was an awesome idea to do this collab with the San Francisco orchestra ^^

Oh, and I noticed something...in S&M James' voice is a bit...different. Beautiful as always, but different. I don't know really how to explain it but it sounds less growl-like but still powerful, though in a different and more clear way, get it?
He uses the growl less but his voice is much more limpid than in all the other records.
You can hear it loads in MoP ^^ and also in Fuel
It's still is the most breath taking voice I have ever heard, though I SOOO love him
