Smokers get defensive when they are told they are harming not only themselves but others. They accuse people of being 'mean' yet they are PHYSICALLY abusing the person VERBALLY telling them to stop smoking. So really smokers are the ones CLEARLY in the wrong here. We need to stop caring about them since they REALLY don't care about us non-smokers.

It's especially bad when you see them smoking in front of CHILDREN! How selfish can you be? They are taking the child's future away. The child will no longer be able to play most sports at their fullest. They will have health complications later on. Be in pain. Catch illnesses easier. Their reduced health will prevent them from participating in many activities to their fullest later in life as well. (I.e. painting-fumes, cooking-steam, cleaning-dust, etc. since their lungs are already damaged) Also their earning potential will be reduced too. They will not be able to do many jobs which require perfect health. (I.e. chef-food contamination, military-weak, lifeguard-reduced lung capacity, fireman-weak lungs, etc. they will not pass the required health exams)

They are very selfish when they tell you to not tell them to quit, and/or stop smoking around them. They are ATTACKING your LUNGS. It's like a child molester asking parents not to say anything when he or she harms kids. NO, it's NOT ok for ANYONE to harm an innocent person. The SMOKER is in the wrong here. We need to let smokers know that we are not taking their abuse anymore. Too many people remain silent. So what happens is that the smoker thinks it's ok and keeps on smoking. We need to start showing smokers that they disgust us with their selfish ways. Smokers think it's ok to harm others, to ruin the lives of children, and to destroy the world. We need to correct them.
